Jackson Township offers a community center- Melvin Cottrell Center for Senior Citizens and the Disabled at 45 Don Connor Boulevard, Jackson, New Jersey 08527.
Funded by the Township of Jackson, NJ, their mission is to serve as a community focal point for senior services. Programs are open to all patrons 50 years of age and older. Reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.

Transportation to the senior center and shopping locations Monday thru Friday. Pick up approximately 8am and returning between 2 and 2:30pm.
Eligibility requirements: Patron must be 50 years of age and have completed a registration form. Reserve a seat by calling before 2pm the day prior to the travel date. Residents must call to cancel a day in advance if they have a conflict and can’t participate.
Schedule Includes Trips to:
- Ocean County Mall, Indian Head, Bricktown
- Freehold Raceway Mall
- Bennetts Mills Plaza, Jackson Shop-Rite, Banks (2x/week)
- Walmart, Kohl’s, Michael’s, Target, Lowe’s, Shop-Rite (Howell) (2x/week)
